Dipolog City Port Project, 1998 – 2000
“Retrofitting the Historical Part of Dipolog City”
A Project by the City Government of Dipolog for the construction of the Dipolog City Port. The Port is one of the country’s oldest points of entry in commercial navigation which serves as the receiving center of revenue in Mindanao. The project involved reclamation works covering an area of 55 x 155 meters, causeway extension, roadway concreting, construction of 3-meter wide stair landings with concrete pier founded on concrete piles, and provisions for fender and mooring facilities. Also included were the construction of the port administration building, shipping and arrastre offices, passenger terminal, roll-on and roll-off ramp, warehouse, storage facilities, water supply system, guardhouse, power facilities and comfort rooms.
CEST, Inc. conducted the detailed engineering designs of the ports including the support infrastructures and facilities; Prepared the cost estimates and bidding documents; Construction of major and support structures were also managed and supervised.
